Supported Housing
YMCA Norfolk has two large accommodation facilities in Norwich and also provides supported housing and lodgings in different parts of the county including Norwich, King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth.The YMCA hostel at 46-48 St. Giles Street, Norwich provides: accommodation for 75 people in single study bedrooms; 63,000 meals a year for residents, members and guests. It offers all residents an intensive life and social skills programme to include employment advice and pastoral guidance. A proposal is currently under way to redevelop the Bethel Street side of the St Giles YMCA to provide 40 self-contained units of accommodation. Click here to read more details.
The Central Norwich YMCA, next to the city centre Bus Station, includes 34 en-suite accommodation units for both men and women and was opened in January 2009. More details …In King's Lynn, two smaller supported housing facilities provide 21 spaces for young people at risk.
Faith Development
Caring for every aspect of those it comes into contact with is what the YMCA is all about. It is summed up in the famous YMCA red triangle sign, which represents the body, mind and spirit of those it offers its many services to. YMCA Norfolk has its own faith development officer, Alexis Lloyd, whose role is specifically to look after the spiritual side of its work. More details
Nightstop
Provides emergency short-term accommodation to help youngsters from the age of 16 upwards who find themselves with nowhere to go.
Resettlement
Currently delivers advice, training and support to local landlords/landladies and direct support to 150 lodgers every year, in a positive caring domestic environment.
It is anticipated that the programme will be developed right across Norfolk.

Providing holistic needs-led pastoral support and development opportunities for children, young people and their families.
Sports Facilities
A sport facility at Trowse, close to Norwich, provides both indoor and outdoor opportunities for 22 affiliated sports clubs with a membership in excess of 1,250.
Corporate office
The corporate office offers consultancy in accounts, human resources, management training, drafting management policies and procedures.
