Norwich: Throckmorton Yard

Throckmorton Yard provides move-on accommodation for 21 young single homeless people aged 16-25. Young people are allocated a support worker to develop a personal support plan, it differs from traditional supported housing because young people share flats (of 3), here they have more independence with cooking facilities, budgeting etc. This is a vital part in the pathway towards independent living, young people can adjust to having a shared space with cooking facilities, whilst receiving support from our staff in budgeting, cooking, cleaning and everything else involved in maintaining a home.
