Splashing around with the YMCA!

YMCA Norfolk staff, volunteers and young people had a fun day on the Beach at Gorleston. Highlights included a well played game of rounders captained by Amanda Timby and Sarah Mortimer, sausage and chips on the beach followed by chill out time and football and frisbee. Sandcastle building and the scavenger hunt were also popular, the hunt was won by the team at Throckmorton Yard.

Louise Hampton a  YMCA Parent Support Advisor working in Yarmouth commented “The day was a real success; it was fab to see so many staff, clients, lodging providers and families that we work with enjoying games and chilling out on the beach. Events like this help us to celebrate all of YMCA Norfolk’s achievements and provide a great opportunity to meet and get to know our young people and volunteers!”
